aaaaaaahhhhhh! I hate that feeling. Each time I see police lights behind me I get a sinking feeling in my stomach....like an airplane in turbulence. Then I get that frantic, "Oh shit do I have anything illegal in my car?" feeling...which is strange because it's been quite some time since I've had anything illegal in my car.
So as you can probably surmise I got pulled over. I was on the way home from dropping Amy off at the airport. There were a pack of cars going 70 or so in a 55. All of the sudden seven cop cars streamed out from hiding behind an overpass pillar. It was like they choreographed it. All of the sudden there are seven strobes behind everyone. And not a single car got away. We all got pulled over. "Please slow down sir," she said after handing me my ticket. $120 and 2 points. Damn you coppers!
I hadn't showered or anything so she probably thought I was a crackhead. Ha! Checkout my hair.

Dude, I live in Jeanerette, which is like 10 miles from new iberia, and i see atleast 4 troopers on the way there every day. Fuckin' speed trap.
Luckily I haven't gotten any tickets since then so hopefully my insurance will go down soon. I hadn't gotten any speeding tickets when I lived in LA...I've been in CO four years now and already have four tickets. Damn my luck.
I hate that sinking feeling also!.

I'm sending 150 to the DA in New Iberia tomorrow for 75 in a 65.
wow that's a good bit more than here. Mine was 72 in a 55 and it's $120. those bastards!
Oh, it was suppose to be 215, but I did signed some form saying i wouldn't get a ticket for two years or they report it to my insurance.
I guess that's better than mine. It's reported to insurance either way. So are you going to go slow for two years or just hope you don't get a ticket?
Just hope I don't get a ticket. This ticket was about number 13 for me overall.
